We have some exciting events planned for 2018!
Hopefully, most of you were able to visit our last show -- "Storm Warnings Continued" and see the "Albatross" move which preceded it - both the movie and show were truly inspiring!
Our next show "Heartbeat" is open to all artists and all media -- with the theme of living things (People or animals). The show runs from August 18-26. If you are interested in participating, please register by emailing us by August 14. See Events tab for downloadable "Call for Entries" and "Registration" forms.
We are also planning our 3rd "Fair Haven's Got Talent" show on Friday, August 17th. This gives the performing artists in our midst a chance to take the stage! We are looking for all type of performers -- singers, musicians, actors, stand-up comedians. If you have questions, or are interested in participating please email us asap and we will get back to you.
This week on Thursday, August 2nd at 10:00 am we have our weekly "Paint with Friends" workshop continuing -- no need to register in advance, just show up and bring whatever you'd like to paint - or draw. We have some supplies for those who are just starting out.
Also this Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 -noon we have our monthly Socrates Café session -- open to all; this is a chance to explore life's questions through dialogue. All are welcome to both workshops -- Paint with Friends will meet in the back room, and Socrates Café will meet in the front (gallery) room.
A lot going on this Thursday and these next few weeks -- and don't forget the Patchouli Concert also on August 2 at 7 pm!
Summer in Fair Haven just gets better and better!
