The Fair Haven Arts Center's exhibitions have been successful in part due to our many wonderful volunteers. We could not have done it without you!
Opportunities to volunteer are listed below. If you have at least 2 hours per month to help us with our programs, we would greatly appreciate it. Please email us at [email protected]. In the subject line please list the name of the coordinator and committee group you wish to volunteer with. They will reach out to you with specific opportunities available. Volunteers help us to run shows for several weekends.
Volunteers needed for: Gallery sitting - coordinated by Millie Newshan - 2 hour shifts on show weekends from 1-3pm. Greet guests, encourage voting in People's Choice among other things. You can bring your own project to work on or a good book in case things are slow. You will receive gallery sitter's guidelines once you have signed up. Wifi is available.
Ad distribution - coordinated by Amy Goggins - help put up flyers around town; help advertise (share) thru social media
Reception - coordinated by Carroll Grant - contribute to reception set-up or close-out; donate baked goods, donate flowers/decor items.
Gallery hanging - coordinated by Pat Hanford & Amy Goggins - help sort and put up art work on walls
There are plenty of opportunities to support the art center: Distribute flyers, gallery sit, donate baked goods for guests to enjoy, donate flowers to display, cleaning premises, weeding gardens, etc. If you have some time to give, we would certainly welcome it! Keep us in mind for future volunteer opportunities.
