"The Person You'd Like to Be"    Discussion Group          Nancy Hale             Mondays June 24, July 8 and July 22   1 - 3 pm
A Three Session Workshop - FREE
Just as a blueprint helps a builder to create a structure, having a clear picture of the person we want to be aids us in making that a reality. In this workshop participants will be helped to bring that picture into better focus, to identify challenging situations and ways of handling them, as well as exploring and changing limiting beliefs that prevent us from becoming the person we want to be.
So that there will be enough time for individual sharing and interaction the size of the group will be limited and will be on a “first come, first served” basis. Participants must also be able to attend all three sessions, as each session builds on the one before. If you are interested in participating, you may either call Nancy at 315-564-7527 or email her at nhale48@frontiernet.net
Facilitator: Nancy Hale, Retired Director of SUNY Oswego Counseling Services Center

4 sessions: Fair Haven Arts Center -- Wednesday Sept 19, Sept 26, Oct 3 & Oct 17 -- from 4 to 6 pm
If you like to draw, if you don’t like to draw, if you haven’t drawn since you were a kid, if you are afraid of drawing – this fundamental class is for you! All you need is a sincere interest in drawing and a willingness to do some interesting, fun and possibly even challenging exercises designed to free up your eye, mind and hand!

Along the way, participants will be introduced to some basic tools and practices of drawing. This will include exploring and experiencing what it is to “see as an artist” – a different “seeing” than most of us use, or even need to use, in our daily life.
Materials for the first session will be provided.   For the second session: participants will need drawing pad (18x24 or 14x17) and charcoal. Arrangements will be made during first class.  Class size limited to 8.
Cost: $65.00 for FHAC members,        $75.00 for non-members.
Instructor: Debra Rose -- drawings shown with Group of 6 at DOC gallery
